Handwoven 100% pure silk ikat scarf from Margilan. 190×44 cm. Colours: Blue, Green, Pink. UNESCO-recognised craft. Each scarf takes several weeks to complete by hand.
Created in Margilan — the silk capital of the Fergana Valley — using techniques that have been refined for over a thousand years.
The Craft
Silk threads are individually tied, dyed with natural pigments, and woven on traditional looms. The ikat technique is UNESCO-recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage. The feathered pattern edges are the direct result of this resist-dyeing process — not a defect, but proof of handcraft.

Ordering from an overseas vendor is always tricky, and I accept that returns will seldom be a realistic option.
