The Craft
Created in Margilan, the silk capital of the Fergana Valley, where artisans have refined ikat weaving for over a thousand years. The process is UNESCO-recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Silk threads are individually tied, dyed with natural pigments, and woven on traditional looms — producing the distinctive feathered patterns that can't be replicated by machine.

Care
Hand wash in cool water with gentle detergent. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Store flat or rolled to preserve the silk fibres. Professional dry cleaning recommended for best results.

Ordering from an overseas vendor is always tricky, and I accept that returns will seldom be a realistic option.
