The outside is handwoven Uzbek ikat cotton - pink, cream and soft gold, woven in the flame-like patterns that Central Asian artisans have been producing for centuries.
The inside is a structured yellow cotton canvas.
Wear it ikat-side out for colour and pattern. Flip it for something quieter. The belt, included, works either way.
A Reinterpreted Classic
This is the reversible chapan - a garment with roots in Uzbek traditional dress, reinterpreted here as something you can actually wear in Amsterdam, Copenhagen or New York without explanation. The kimono sleeves are wide and unhurried. The length hits mid-thigh. The silhouette is generous without being shapeless.
Handwoven Uniqueness
The ikat fabric is hand-woven, which means the pattern is produced thread by thread before the fabric is ever cut. No two pieces are identical. The pink you receive will be yours alone — the same pattern family, a different expression of it.
