Black, white and red. The most resolved colour story in the collection - and a jacket that works two completely different ways.
The Concept
Most jackets have a lining. This one has a second jacket. One side is a bold monochrome hand-woven ikat — black and charcoal in the Central Asian flame pattern. Flip it and you find deep crimson denim-cotton canvas. The ikat trim frames the collar, cuffs and hem on the red side, so neither version fully hides what the other is.
The Fabric
The ikat is hand-woven in Uzbekistan using a thread-dyeing process UNESCO has recognised as cultural heritage. Artisans dye the threads individually — before a single centimetre of fabric is woven — to produce the characteristic blurred, flame-like patterns.
This is not a print. It cannot be exactly replicated by machine, and it cannot be exactly repeated. The piece you receive is the only one of its kind.

The Silhouette
A reimagined Uzbek chapan: wide kimono sleeves with structured cuffs, open front, mid-thigh length. The cut is generous without being shapeless. A matching belt is included and works on both sides.

Care
Hand wash cold or gentle machine wash. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat. Store folded.
